We loved how easy it was to stroll to the nearby shopping center for coffee in the mornings and the fact that beautiful parks and the iconic Carmel Mission Basilica Museum were just a short walk away, making our weekend full of fun explorations.

Spent some wonderful time exploring the private gardens of the inn with my wife and kids, enjoying the tranquil atmosphere. The room was designed perfectly for our needs, boasting cozy lighting and ample outlets. Plus, the quick drive to downtown Carmel made dining options easy!

In my wife’s opinion, the hotel could use more options for on-site dining.

I absolutely adored the charming, thoughtfully designed common areas. The accessible pathways made wandering around feel effortless, ensuring I could enjoy the beautiful outdoor patio without any fuss, all while soaking in the sun's warm embrace.

We enjoyed a delightful 3-night stay with our toddler. The updated decor added a touch of charm, and the spacious room allowed our little one plenty of play space. The onsite restaurant offered tasty food, perfect after a day of exploring. Pro tip, arrive early for electric car charging!

we had a wonderful time at the carmel mission inn. the outdoor pool was a hit with the family, and the location is super close to monterey for easy day trips. we really appreciated the happy hour snacks at the pool, which made for a relaxing afternoon. the lobby and outdoor areas were beautifully maintained.

the happy hour only runs from tuesday to saturday, which was a bit disappointing for our long weekend.

The queen room with a balcony offered stunning mountain views, especially in the evening. The pool area provided a peaceful retreat from traffic noise, creating a perfect environment for relaxation.

Common hallways showed signs of wear and could use some sprucing up, which felt a bit distracting. The rain created quite a ruckus with cascading water outside the window, making it tough to ignore. The shower head could definitely use some replacing, while the pillows lacked variety and comfort.

The extensive shopping and dining options nearby were a major plus, making it convenient to step outside and enjoy the area. The rooms were large and clean, providing a comfortable stay. However, while the breakfast had a good hot food selection, the weekend buffet was disappointing with limited choices and slow service.

I had a wonderful stay at Carmel Mission Inn. The location is just perfect, right next to the charming Carmel area and conveniently close to several dining options and shops. Our deluxe room with a balcony was spacious with beautiful views of the pool and surrounding hills. The free parking and Wi-Fi were great perks!
