The standard queen room is modest and huge. The staff are really kind and I enjoyed their attitude.

It is easy to find, well decorated and good value (for Carmel).
Would have liked an inclusive Continental Breakfast

In my wife's opinion, the hotel could use more options for on-site dining.

The location was stunning: a grocery store and convenience stores were within walking distance. The hotel was next to freeway - you can go everywhere. The rooms were impressive with a bathtub and a nice view, for instance as described.

The Pool, Location next to the PAcific 1, and close to a nice restaurant area
The room was very noisy as close to a big A/C system. There was a big queue to get to an expensive breakfast. Way too expensive for the value

I adored the charming, thoughtfully designed common areas. The accessible pathways was great, ensuring I could enjoy the beautiful outdoor patio without any fuss, all while soaking in the sun's warm embrace.
More seating options in the dining area, please.

Close to town center w/o being in middle of noise & bustle. Staff were very knowledgeable about all local shopping, sights, and restaurants, right down to immediate reply of several choices which eateries servepast 9pm. Great king suite at a great value.
On-site restaurant was crowded throughout breakfast hours; line out the door.

I have stayed at the Carmel Mission years back and I must say I love the way it has been remodeled, very nice! Grounds are beautiful hotel staff very nice.
Breakfast! food was good however it took forty minutes before it was brought to our table, We had people from Taiwan and it was quite embarrassing to wait that long. The waiter said that they work to keep the buffet going and it is difficult for the chef do cook off the menu and take care of the buffet too. That made us feel like it is a punishment to order off the menu. There was a waitress the was very helpful we did not see our waiter and she served us coffee and went to get the waiter for us about 3 times. I would recommend the hotel but not the restaurant.

The inn was very nice & clean, newly renovated, great location for a fair price. I would definately stay there again. The pool and spa were relaxing. The front desk clerk, Jose was really awesome! He made us feel very welcome!
Our greeting from the front desk clerk was not the best experience. Check-in time was 4 pm & the girl that greeted us acted as if we were bothering her. She needs some lessons in Customer Service.

The room we stayed in was boutique-cute and included so many features that made it a great retreat. The room was a bit small but that just made it feel cozy and every inch of space was well used. Lots of glass in the bath and a walk in shower with an overhead rain faucet, nice quality toiletries and bathrobes were something to look forward to. Our room was on the fourth floor but it was quiet and other guests were well mannered. The gardens and common areas were a great place to enjoy the weather and it was within walking distance of essentials. Definitely a do-over.
